Description

Gaillardia grandiflora 'Monarch' is a perennial. It grows to 2'-4' high, 1.5' wide, with roughish, gray green foliage and single flowers 3"-4" across. Blooms from summer through mid fall on thin, erect stems. This perennial prefers full sun, well draining soil, regular watering. Take care not to overwater. Tolerates heat. Attracts butterflies and bees. Will self-sow unless you deadhead. Does not need fertilizer.
